There is a new quartet in Greater Boston with some faces and names that may be familiar. The name of the quartet is club.406. Their name is a tribute to Ted Williams and the amazing 1941 Red Sox season in which Ted was the last major league player to bat .400 or better for an entire season.

While they are all baseball and sports fans to varying degrees, the name is as much about the proud tradition, history and excellence that the number 406 represents for them.
